What size do I need?

If you’re a beginner, bigger is better! A larger and heavier hoop allows for a slower and more stable spin.

When choosing the size of a beginner hula hoop you want to spin on your waist, we take into account two factors. Your height and most importantly, waist circumference.

Please refer to information below as a rough guide to hoop size for height ranges. If you proportionately carry more weight around your belly/mid-section, it can be helpful to go up a size or a few sizes than the height guide suggests. It it most important to have enough space between your body and the hoop to successfully keep it spinning.

For extra large adults,  custom fitness hoop sizes are available. Please just specify in the comments section when you complete your purchase or give us a call.

Large Adult Beginners - 100cm(5ft5 - 6ft tall)
Extra Large Adult Beginners - 108cm(6ft+ -  larger waist circumference)
Medium Adult Beginners - 95cm(5ft - 5ft 5 tall)
Extra Small Adult Beginners - 90cm(4ft 5 - 5ft tall)
Children - 85cm(most primary school age children or XXS adults. Custom sizes are available for pre-school to kindi aged children)
