      How To Fix A Broken Hula Hoop

      This is a quick fix tutorial for replacing broken joiners in riveted dance hula hoops.
      Basic tools required:
      • Drill (can be hand held)
      • Pliers
      • Boiling Water
      • Replacement Joiner
      • Replacement Rivets x 2
      • Rivet Gun
      All of these tools are available at regular hardware stores or are common items in toolkits of handymen or trades people. The size of your replacement joiner will be specific to the type of hoop you are fixing. It is best to first remove your old joiner and take the hoop with you to the hardware store OR contact the supplier you got your hoop from. If your joiner fits but is a tight squeeze, running either end of the hoop under boiling water for 10-20 seconds first, will help you easily slide the joiner it.
